Sypnosis:

Generations come and go,
but the "love" remains forever.

CHUNG SIU HO (Lee Sze Kei, Louise) and her husband KAM TAI CHO (Ha Yu) have been working hard for many years to establish a famous reputation for their Moonlight Cake Shop. However, HO discovers that CHO commits adultery with her best friend YAN HUNG (Yim, Michelle) and she breaks up with him miserably. HO brings along her children KAM WING HO (Lam, Raymond), KAM WING HING (Chen Fala) and her adopted daughter SUEN HO YUET (Yeung Yi) to set up another cake shop for a living.
HUNG moves in to live with CHO and she starts playing tricks in the family. She tries pleasing her mother-in-law SHEH KWAN LAI (Lee Heung Kam) in every ways while disuniting her stepson and CHO. Outside the family, HUNG starts expanding their business rapidly and HO's younger sister CHUNG SIU SA (Kwan Kuk Ying, Susanna) is displeased. SA decides to fight for the ownership of their cake shop's brand name in court with HUNG and their relationship with HUNG further deteriorates.
Apart from the cake shop business, HO also spends a lot of efforts on her children. Her oldest son KAM WING KA (Chan Ho, Moses) is not interested in managing the cake shop at all and he indulges himself on stock trading. He also develops an entangling relationship with his cousin LO KA MEI (Tsui Tsz Shan, Kate) and YUET at the same time. On the other hand, HO's younger son WING HO takes up the role of a father in the family and he works hard all the time to earn a living. WING HO loves his childhood friend CHAU (Chung Ka Yan) whole-heartedly but CHAU is in love with the doctor LING CHI SHUN (Wong Chung Chak).
HO works hard unconditionally to strive for the well being of her family members. HUNG, on the other hand, is a very mean person who values her own benefits only. CHO is caught between the two women all the time and he feels helpless. One day, a disaster happens at the cake shop. Here comes a time when human nature, family bonds and love are brought to a trail.

OMG! It's finally coming!
The long awaited sequel to Heart of Greed 2007 is finally here. Although this is not really a sequel as the plot and storyline is different, the cast remains mostly the same. Some new people have been added though.
The story seems really interesting! I think Moonlight Resonance will again win best series this year. This time, the ending will be more happy than the first and everybody ends up paired up with each other. Except for Vincent (?) I think.
I can't think of anything else to say, just really stunned that it came out so quickly. But that is because it's to celebrate the mid-autumn festival. The artists worked a lot around the clock to help finalise it. (:
The poster looks really pretty by the way, and Shirley and Jack will be playing younger version Lee Sze Kei and Ha Yu.

So, here's the lowdown on my life in this past week.

I've been trying to do the rest of the summary of ep. 6. I had a good head start at the start of the week, except I've been lazy and haven't been bothered.
I have a math's test tomorrow, I did pretty well in my science test this week. Top mark with 96%... haha...

The only things I have been posting so far is gossip... lol.
And I've kinda figured how to blend things together in Photoshop so, I'm satisfied.

Lost in the Quadrangle of Love

Characters:

Shirley: A normal schoolgirl, she speaks with a clear voice. Best friends with Fala. She really likes Jack.
Fala: Has an outgoing personality. Best friends with Shirley. She likes Jack as well.
Jack: Good at sports but smart as well. Good friends with Kenneth, he is always encouraging him. He really likes Shirley, but doesn’t like Fala that much.
Kenneth: A very smart boy. A good friend of Jack’s, he admires and looks up to him. He really likes Fala, except he is scared that she will reject him.

Scene One
It is after school. The students are returning to their locker bays.

Fala: Omg... Ms. Feng gave us so much homework, and it’s due tomorrow!
Shirley: Yeah... hey, did you get question five?
Fala: [playing with her hair and looking somewhere distant] Wasn’t listening. [gasps and runs off] Come on Shirley!
Shirley: [follows but trips. Her books scatter across the ground. She sits up and looks at her hands. Winces] Ow…
Jack: [bends over and helps Shirley pick up books]
Shirley: Oh... thanks. [looks up and realising its Jack, she blushes and begins to quickly gather her books]
Jack: [while picking up books, his hand accidentally swipes over Shirley’s. They stare at each other for a moment and then quickly retract their hands.
After gathering her books, they both stand up and he wipes his hands over his jeans]
Shirley: Thanks...
Jack: It’s alright... hey. What’s your name again?
Shirley: Um... it’s Shirley.
Jack: Cool, hey, weren’t you in the netball team one year? You were really good.
Shirley: [blushes] Uh... yeah, thanks. I wasn’t really that good by the way...
Kenneth: [comes running over. Nudges his glasses further up his nose]
Shirley: Hey Kenneth! [smiles]
Kenneth: Hey. [smiles back]
Jack: [surprised] You know each other?
Shirley: Uh, yeah... We were in the same debating team last year, we rocked, didn’t we? [laughs]
Kenneth: Yeah... [frowns and starts to wipe his glasses]
Jack: [a little jealous] Ok, seeya round! [holds onto Kenneth’s shoulder's and drags him away]
Shirley: Ok then... seeya... [watches them go and starts walking to the locker bay]

In the locker bay...

Shirley: [waiting for Fala by her locker, looks at her phone]
Fala: [comes running in] Hey, what took you so long?
Shirley: I was going to ask you the same thing too.
Fala: [puts her hands on her hips] I told you to follow me, didn’t I?
Shirley: No you didn’t... whatever. What happened anyway?
Fala: [walks to her locker and starts twisting the lock] Oh... it was nothing. False alarm. What were you doing?
Shirley: [blushes] Oh... nothing. Just tripped, had to pick up my books.
Fala: [looks at Shirley’s expression] Yeah... sure... [nudges her]
Shirley: [quickly changes the topic] Uh... didn’t you say you wanted to go somewhere? It’s already pretty late…
Fala: [suddenly remembers] Oh yeah...! I wanted to go to the cafe up the road; people say the coffee there is really good.
Shirley: Ok, let’s go then. [sighs a sigh of relief]

In the boy's change rooms...

Jack: So... what’s with you and Shirley?
Kenneth: Oh... nothing special. We were just in the same debating team last year, that’s all.
Jack: Are you sure? You seemed pretty familiar with each other.
Kenneth: Yeah... why?
Jack: [pretend laugh] Uh... just wanted to know.
Kenneth: Actually, I think I went with her once or twice to the library...
Jack: You WHAT!?
Kenneth: [laughs] Just joking... lol. What, you like her?
Jack: [laughs and quickly changes the subject] Didn’t you say you wanted to go somewhere?
Kenneth: [suddenly remembers] Oh yeah...! Just wanted to go to the cafe up the road, I’ve heard people say they make the best coffee up there.
Jack: Sure. [wipes his forehead in relief]

Comments:

This script was actually homework for my english class. We were writing scripts, I don't know why. I kinda remember our english teacher saying something about jazzing up our room. I think later we will also have to perform ours or something...
I've always wanted to do something with Jack Wu and Shirley Yeung, I reckon this is kinda cute. Maybe I'll make a banner later but not till I can actually find a way around Photoshop, so confusing! >.<

Sonjia Kwok's 34th Birthday; D.I.E II Starts in November

Yesterday was Sonjia Kwok's 34th birthday, she posted a picture of her and her mother cutting a birthday cake together on her blog. Turns out that her fans already celebrated with her earlier and gave her many small handmade gifts. She was very touched. Sonjia also says that she needs to treat a meal, she explains that: "earlier 'D.I.E' TV Ratings were good, I promised to treat everyone to a meal, thanking them for their support." "D.I.E" broadcast ratings have been impressive, she will be preparing to film the sequel in November, Sonjia excitely said: "this is my first time filming a sequel, its Roger who brought luck to me. Couldn't believe became TV Queen, working hard to get audience to agree, just I will continue to work hard!" As for Roger Kwok also laughed that he hopes to add "new blood" (newcomers), he smiled: "including me as being Red, adding more pretty girls would be nice, how about Ma Choi, she started out in acting, there is enough fresh feeling there."

My thoughts:

Happy Belated Birthday Sonjia!
So they are going to do a D.I.E 2... loved the first one. Looking forward to the second one.
I really like Sonjia except she always gets bad press, I just wish the media would stop following her. Roger is one of my favourites, always liked him.
Just wondering how they will incorporate his death into the story, unless they are continuing from the alternate ending... one of the first ones for me. And who is this Ma Choi?

When A Dog Loves A Cat

Synopsis:
Promise you love me, honor and keep me, for better or worse, in sickness and in health.
CHOW CHI YU (Myolie Wu) once adopted a stray dog TAI PA but it brought virus to her father’s kennel and all the dogs inside are dead tragically. Since then, her older brother CHOW CHI JIM (Lui Fong) and sister-in-law SHUI TIN LAN (Margie Tsang) have no choice but to open a pet shop for a living. Later, YU met TAI PA’s little brother SIU PA but her boyfriend YING HOI LEUNG (Raymond Wong) suggested her to keep it in an empty house nearby.
MIU CHUN (Gallen Lo)’s girlfriend KAKA lost her life while saving her dog TAI PA in a traffic accident. CHUN was devastated and he abandoned the dog while keeping KAKA’s beloved cat CANCAN with him. CHUN moves in to his new home but he is enraged to discover SIU PA has been raising there secretly by YU, his neighbour as well as his coworker at advertising firm. While seeing each other day and night, the battle between the “cat” and the “dog” becomes never-ending.
CHUN accidentally uncovers a secret relationship between YU and LEUNG. YU turns to CHUN for advice since she has found that LEUNG has affair with another woman. The two of them gradually develop feelings on each other but they don’t know how to express themselves. During the time, MAN CHI KEI (Bernice Liu), the daughter of the big boss, suddenly pursues CHUN. CHUN finally realizes who his true love is but the timing is just not right.

My Thoughts:

Looks refreshing! The actors and actresses all appeal to my liking, looking forward to this one. With the return of Gallen, this is what makes this series appealing to me. A lot of veterans are returning to TVB recently.
The story seems interesting, seems to me that I haven't seen Bernice in a long time, there must be another story behind her sudden pursuing.
I don't think the ratings will be that good, since Moonlight Resonance will also be showing as well unless that will not be as good as the first. (:
By the way, the cat and the dog look so cute together... hehehe

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, there has been much going on, getting back to the schedule of school. Which is annoying...
My maths project is due tomorrow and I have a science test as well. Tried linking the printer to the new computer but it didn't work, so disappointed.
I hope I will find time again. (:

New Computer

A couple of weeks ago, my uncle gave us his old computer. It's actually not quiet old, except he gave it to us because he wanted to buy a laptop.
The only part I'm interested in is the Photoshop part, CS3. I hope I will be able to make quiet a few banners and pictures with it, still getting used to its functions.

The next school holidays I have a few taiwanese series that I might be watching. Choices include Bull Fighting, Rolling Love, It Started With a Kiss or Fated to Love. The major movie I am looking forward to is Butterfly Lovers starring Wu Chun and Ah Sa. (From TWINS)
New obsession: Taiwanese Dramas

As for TVB, started watching LE this week. It's really interesting so far. My mum and grandma have decided to drop TMMR and they are also thinking of doing the same with SOS.
I'm going to be honest and I am not enjoying SOS much, except parts with Elaine and Chris. No offense, but it seems boring. I could always guess what was going to happen next. I guess that's because that's the way I was raised, seeing as my mum and grandma don't like it. It's just, not our type.

That's all I wanted to say today, finishing my chinese and tutor homework. Will try and make time for HOF summaries, maybe tomorrow. (:

First Day of School
7.14.2008


As of today, HOF summaries won't be that frequent as I have just started again. 9 weeks in this term, felt really long at lunch.

My day holiday at Mt. Buller was fun, so much snow! I didn't go ski-ing, will have to next time I go which will be ages... -.-" I did a lot of photo taking, maybe I'll post some up later or when I have time. I did go taboggoning for a while and all this snow went up my face.
The prettiest moment was when it snowed... (: The trees were so pretty, covered all with snow and everything.

Miss. Pang has given us an extension with our maths project, I finally get it now. I thought of the solution this morning when I didn't want to get up. Gave us the extension because she thought there was too much to do as well. Science test will be on monday as well, and my Science Talent Search edit will be due in then too. I got into it, glad I chose creative writing instead of others, otherwise I would've had to make a speech...

That's all I have time for today, working on HOF posts and homework. Didn't do anything in maths, had a good long talk with my friends. The first letters in our name make up S.H.E... haha!

Snow Mountains

Tomorrow, unexpectedly, I will be going ski-ing tomorrow at Mt. Buller. This is very unexpected because on Monday, we will be starting school again! I haven't even finished most of my maths project... me and my friends have decided that we will ask Miss. Pang on Monday about it, hope she can give us an extension.
I'd prefer to be here at home though, rather then go out. I could work on the HOF summaries. Even if I go, I don't think I will be doing much...

Chris and Elaine Will Never Have Real Sparks


Chris Lai and Elaine Yiu will never have Real sparks

Chris Lai and Elaine Yiu state that they will never have real sparks. In the series “Speech of Silence” they play a bickering couple, but in real life they are very good friends and have known each other since filming their debut series. Although they still like to tease each other off screen too.

Chris Lai states that Elaine is a very good friend but even though they talk about their problems with each other, he still likes to tease her. “I really like teasing her, but she will never get mad at me. When she’s in the make-up room I often tease her by using the megaphone, calling her to enter the studio immediatley. Or while she’s filming I will make funny faces at her, making her laugh and having to redo the scene again."

My thoughts:

Why? I think that they are so cute together! Maybe they're lying to the press... just look at the chemistry between them!
I really like them both in SOS, both being one of my favourites. Hope they do get together in real life, wish them the best of luck!

My Ballarat Holiday

I am back from my short trip to Ballarat. You know how I said I would post up pictures, it seems I have forgotten to bring my camera!
We didn't do much anyway. We were going to go to this museum, but we couldn't find it. We also got lost on the way to our resort, there was no such address on the map. Luckily, we stopped in front of somebody's house and they came out and helped us.
So yeah, we didn't actually do much at all. We didn't go to Sovereign Hill, the main attraction of Ballarat. The entry fee is quiet expensive and besides, we went there last time with some freinds from Canada. Hearts of Fencing summaries will be posted up shortly. Tomorrow, I'm going to the movies with friends, Joey and Surina. (:

TVB Announces the Formations of Their Olympic Host

Yesterday, Carol Cheng, Nat Chan, Hacken Lee,Tracy Ip and Alex fong attended the "TVB Olympic hosts and commentors press release ceremony" organised together by Television Broadcast Limited and Kowloon Bay Shopping mall. After the indoor event in the shopping mall, the artiste's moved to a topless bus and patrolled around Kowloon for promotion.

TVB announced that they will let Nat Chan and Carol Cheng be in charge of the Olympic hosts to show their positions of first brother and first sister in the company.
Carol Cheng will be bringing Hacken Lee, Leo Ku, Alex Fong, Heidi Chu and Dexter Young to the broadcast studio in Beijing to get the latest Olympic news in August.
Nat Chan will be leading Tracy Ip, Anna Yau, Sharon Luk to be responsible for the hosting in Hong Kong's studio.
Apart from news, TVB will also send the current Miss Hong Kong, Kayee Cheung together with Shirley Yeung, Wendy Hon and Eric Chung to be in charge of the interviews directly in the olympic stadiums.

Hacken Lee has to leave his baby temporarily

Hacken Lee expressed that he felt honored when he was being invited to work with Carol Cheng in Beijing. It was a very rare opportunity to take part in such an event. Speaking that he has to leave Hong Kong for a number of weeks, seperating from his son. Hacken Lee says "It is a rare opportunity, my son will understand."

Carol Cheng has no experience in such big events

Carol Cheng will be arriving in Beijing during early August to make preparations and will stay until the Beijing Olympics officially ended. She felt that the stress and pressure is not big. Carol says
"Everybody understands, although I have never been an Olympic host before, there will be many dictionaries and professionals behind to help me, I don't have to worry."
Carol Cheng also says that she will ask questions to the specialists and professionals in Beijing on behalf of the audiences in Hong Kong.

My thoughts:

WOOT! I am so looking forward to the olympics this year for some strange reason! AZN PRIDE!
I am glad that TVB chose these people to go to the olympics. I guess my comment about Tracy Ip before, I have to change it a bit. Her acting isn't that good but I think she has potential as a presenter. Kayee? OMG, she's worse than Tracy! (hope I don't offend anybody)
Even though I don't have TVB satellite, I hope I will still be able to get a glimpse of Alex and Shirley on Australian TV but I doubt it... -sniff- I knew that Shirley was going to do something and even though she doesn't have a big role, I hope she does a good job!
