So, how do you all like it? It wasn't actually the design I originally wanted but after some help, I decided it really didn't fit this blog much at all! Anyway, I'm really happy, because this banner was actually designed by me! Actually, it's not really a design, instead, putting pics together.
Still, totally happy with the overall picture!

Mel!bourne


Heh heh heh, anyway, today my aunty, mum, brother and me took my grandma's neice from Vietnam around Melbourne!
When we got there and parked our car, we began walking but we didn't really have a target. We walked past Nando's and for some strange reason, we went in and ate there... o.o" The meal was very nice... yummi much!?
After that, we walked past these buildings that are very historic, we took many photos but none of them have me in them... heh heh heh, anyway, yep. We wanted to wait for the City Circle, a tram that is free and goes around the city in circles the whole day but we weren't bothered and decided to walk instead.
We later walked past Federation Square and walked towards the Melbourne Art Centre. We went in there for a little while, and looked at some ballet things... my aunty really likes gymnastics, ballet and diving, anything that is artistic. We went out and then walked down to the lower level and walked around the market there, which is only on Sunday. Towards the casino place, there were two men and they performed cool tricks, I wanted to take pictures but I was struck by awe... the last trick they performed was placing a sword down their throats and juggling fire sticks to each other... woh... so scared for them!
Then, we walked towards the casino and later went inside there. My brother and I had an icecream but I dropped mine on the floor... my mum, aunty and other aunty (that's what I call her) had a durian icecream from another store.
After that, we walked across the bridge running over the Yarra River through Melbourne and walked further up ahead to see the Southern Cross Station. Behind that, there's a DFO and yeah, we went shopping! I only got a jumper from Giordano, I really wanted a pair of jeans...! The jumper looks exactly like my cousins but just a little different... heh heh heh.
After that, we walked and arrived at Melbourne Central, another popular shopping district. There, we had sushi... heh heh heh. That was quite nice, and then we went to the popular ringing clock that plays Waltzing Matilda every hour... except, we arrived 15 mins. late!
After that, we did get a hop on the City Circle and that's when we decided we would get off. But, at our stop, my mum was busy talking on the phone and we didn't actually get off, so we went for another round... haha! We passed most of the places we visited and we also passed a lot of the new buildings in the Docklands precinct, which we hadn't seen before.

So yeah, that was my day. It was really busy, and fun! Heh heh heh...

Fala Chen feel's that she cannot make friends with male artists in the industry

Fala Chen and Mandy Lieu appeared at the "Dove Chocolate" press conference yesterday. Fala expressed that Chocolate represented Romance. It makes people think of love. When she was studying a male student gave her chocolate that was shaped as a teddy bear. But in the end he never touched her heart. The reason is because she is not someone who easily gets into a relationship. Asked what her boyfriend requirements were? Fala stated that she hopes to meet someone who is attentive but the most important thing is that they do not mind she is an artist. They also need to be caring and have a good attitude.

Before Fala joined the industry she had previously met someone who was compatible, but unfortunately the relationship ended. Asked whether she would choose to date someone from the entertainment circle? She considers that it's very difficult to make friends with guys in the industry because they may be afraid of rumors. Even when they are in a public place they will be very careful in saying more than a few words. Therefore they cannot be friends and it will be impossible to even date. Also Mandy stole the spotlight wearing a low cut dress, Fala complimented her beauty. Fala also performed her role in "Moonlight Resonance" as a mute girl and did sign language. She got alot of applause from the reporters.

My thoughts:

Oh... this is touching and sad. I really agree with Fala, it's really hard to have relationships with other people when you're in the entertainment industry.
I never used to like her, but she seems so cute, naive and innocent in MR, I've really grown to liking Fala this time round. (:

Results for Melbourne School Bands Festival

The results for our school are as follow:
Symphonic Band - Bronze (ME!)
Concert Band - Bronze
Junior Band - Participation
Strings - Gold
Junior Strings - Participation

Please bear in mind that we didn't come overall third, instead, a number of bands in the same level receieve an award. Junior bands can only recieve a participation...
Our conductor believes we did better than a bronze, we should've recieved a silver prize at least. I am still pretty satisified with our performance!
Strings have been invited to play at the finale, they were the best in their level! Heh heh heh, wish them luck!

Ron Ng and Tavia Yeung celebrate their birthday's together for the 6th time

Ron Ng & Tavia Yeung celebrates their birthday together (6th Time)
Tavia Yeung and Ron Ng just celebrated their birthdays this weekend together, they celebrated with their fans. Turns out that the both of them celebrated their birthday with fans 6 times. That day, the two received birthday cake and gifts from fans. Tavia's greatest happiness is that her fans are able to pass their examination and can come to see her, when she saw an A on their report card, she would laugh and say that its the best gift. As for her birthday wish, Tavia hopes that her family and herself will be healthy because recently her health has not been as well as before.

As to the 6th time she celebrated her birthday with Ron Ng, she feels happy as it feels like she grew up with him, there is a lot of chemistry between them. So will Tavia and Ron have a chance to become a couple? She immediately shook her head saying No. Asked if it was because Ron has too many rumors? Tavia denied, she explains that because she is too familiar with Ron, the feeling is like sister and brother, also she is older than Ron by 2 days, so there won't be any "brother-sister" relationship. But, she greatly praises Ron that he's a good guy and does not feel that he's a player. She also believes and sighs that his rumors are met by chance

Clarifies rumors with Toby, It's a Joke
That day many of Ron's fans came from many different places, including Canada, HangZhou, Shanghai, Beijing, etc. Ron's most happy about his fans making a series for him, the creation had a collection of his debut pictures in it and the gift was very thoughtful. This year, his birthday wish is to have good health and less rumors. He also feels that Tavia and him has known each other for 10+ years, they both are have the same horoscope, have lots of chemistry, but will not develop a relationship.

Also there was a report that said Ron cheated on rumored girlfriend Charmaine Sheh with Toby Leung. Toby admitted herself on facebook that she has contacts with Ron and also posted intimate photos of the two. Ron denied to the rumors about them dating, he said that he never used Facebook, the picture was taken when they were filming "Men in Pain". He hopes that everyone don't believe this, he already knew Toby before he entered the entertainment industry, he says that the report is just a joke.

My thoughts:

Happy Birthday Tavia and Ron! I wish you the best!
I feel so sorry for Ron, why does the media have to keep on picking on him? It's so sad...
Haha! There have been so many birthday's recently, especially artiste's with their fans, I wish their would be as much people to celebrate with me on my birthday!
Tavia is so nice, I wish I could meet her in real life!

By the way, school has been in the way a lot so that's why I pretty much only post things and haven't been working on summaries as much. Hope to finish some soon!

Tracey Ip has created too much negative news, TVB decide to freeze her

Tracey Ip is no doubt one of the Miss Hong Kong winners with the most negative news this year. TVB feel that Tracey is often creating news to get noticed and has ruined her own image. she had repeatedly been advised by TVB to be careful with her actions but it wasn't effective. Earlier she also used the Olympics programme to create news and promote herself. In the end TVB have decided they will freeze Tracey after the Olympics have finished broadcasting.

Since Tracey won the Miss Hong Kong title in 2005 she had been promoted by TVB and had many different jobs including hosting and appearing in several TV series. Recent series that have been broad casted were "Love Exchange", "When a Dog loves a Cat" and "Moonlight Resonance". Also Tracey had frequently appeared in swimwear shows at shopping malls.

Although she had been appearing alot in the public, her negative news has been reported non stop such as having plastic surgery, breast enlargements, buying a mansion, travelling with a mid aged man on expensive trips. All these news reports have seriously ruined her Miss Hong Kong image. TVB determine that many of the reports and pictures were created deliberately by Tracey and the magazine company. Tracey denied that she had made up news to promote herself and also stated she was the victim. TVB had become extremely unhappy with her non stop negative news.

Will not be arranged to appear in any series

Earlier TVB used alot of efforts to create the Olympic event programmes. Tracey was also given the chance to host the programme. But it was suddenly confirmed that Tracey had been replaced by Anna Yau to host the evening slot. This made Tracey extremely confused and she was even reported backstabbing Anna Yau. TVB was very concerned with this matter and considered that she should not have used the Olympics programme to create more news and trouble. Therefore, TVB have decided to freeze her work. She will not be arranged to film any new series and she will also be replaced for hosting "E-Buzz ".

TVB executive Virginia Lok did not give an straight answer but did not deny that Tracy will be frozen. She said "Tracey hasn't really appeared in many tv series and her main work is unrelated to acting. The programme (E-Buzz ) has been stopped for now, but I have not made further arrangements." Virginia admitted that she had met up with Tracey before to discuss about her negative news. "If she has news reports it may not be good, if they are negative news reports then it will certainly give a bad influence. Now it has definitely got to the point where it's bad. Tracey is a very smart person but she must know how to handle the matters as soon as possible."

My thoughts:

I don't mean to be mean and I hope I don't offend any Tracy fans out there but I think she deserved this. I feel that Tracy doesn't have strong acting skills and she appears in a lot of gossip magazines. Lol, I have one at home about her and the stages of plastic surgery...
But I do feel sorry for her, if you know what I mean. I don't think anybody would want to be frozen... lol. My thoughts must be confusing.

Kate Tsui has an car accident and injures her chest

Yesterday morning Kate Tsui was involved in an car accident while driving to Seung Sui for work. It was suspected that due to dodging a dog in the road her car suddenly lost control and crashed into the back of a van. But because of the impulse force her car bounced and hit the curb. The windscreen was totally smashed. According to sources not only did Kate injure her head, arms but most worrying was that her chest area was injured too. She was taken to hospital immediately but after examinations it was confirmed that their were no fractures. However, although Kate still felt alot of pain in the chest area she was still willing to continue filming for the day.

After the crash Kate and the Van driver were assisted by the police. Kate was taken to North District Hospital in Seung Sui for immediate treatment. Afterwards she was still willing to continue to go to the Sister Aquinas Memorial Women's Treatment Centre to film new series "Beauitful HD". Kate wore a cap and her right hand was wrapped in a bandage, while Chris Lai was beside her. When Kate saw her manager Leung Kwok Chung she instantly went to hug him. It appeared that she was still in alot of shock.

Kate had been filming for several hours and finished at 6:45pm. During that time the reporter noticed the bandage on her hand had already been removed. She waved to reporters and was asked about her injuries. Kate said "Thank you everyone, I am okay. My chest was just in alot of pain" (Have you had alot of NG's due to still being in shock?) "No, everything is fine, my mom is worried about me that's why I am going straight home." (Have you been drinking alcohol?) "Definitley not, I was just trying to dodge a dog".

"Beautiful HD" producer Tsui Yu On revealed that he did ask Kate whether she needed to rest but Kate insisted to continue as she understood that the location was booked and may cause problems. But due to safety precautions he will reduce action scenes so that she can rest.

My thoughts:

I hope Kate can settle soon and can continue filming some really good series. Althought I didn't get to watch her whole performance in Speech of Silence, I hear that her acting was very good! That's why I'm really looking forward to her part in Moonlight Resonance.
I think Kate's personality is that she is really strong and really outgoing. To suffer this experience must've been really bad for her, hope she can recover and let is pass away...

Update

Another update, from the life of me!

Again, I have not foudn time to actually do anything the last week and promise to start fresh this week! Sunday I found hectic because I went to my friend's place to start our history project. iT was very frustrating at first, but we did manage to do a lot of things in the end.

Today, I went to my other friend's place to continue it. There was not much to continue on so we did other things as well. I taught her a few basics of Photoshop, because it's a lot more easier if you have somebody help you right?

Many projects and tests are coming in this week and next. Wednesday, Maths Test. Thursday, Design Technology Assignment due (sewing). Friday, Music Assignment due. Next Wednesday, Science Test.

Tomorrow, we are getting marked on our gymnastics routine in Physical Education, wish me luck!

WHY?

Why have I not been updating regularly and choosing to slack off instead?

School does get in the way of things, mostly that. This week, I have been quiet lazy and instead of working on my homework, I have been slacking off, and doing nothing. Watching TV I guess, probably the Olympics... >.<
At school, instead of concentrating, I have been chatting with my friends, which leaves me a lot of homework and I don't even do it, I have to catch up the next day... In english, I have to keep making up my answers when she asks me a question regarding our homework.

A good thing I have done is that I have helped my friend Surina do a lot of rearranging of her blog, the template and everything. (:

Today, I have thought of a name for my new blog, if I ever do one. Please do not worry! If I do, I will probably give you much weeks time and it will probably be in the long holidays, where I will spend my days lolling on the computer. I have also thought of my banner, which will require some time I reckon. (:

So that's what my week has been, hopefully, I will be able to finish my homework on the weekend and spend my Sunday doing some TVB stuff or messing with PS again. I have been going up to my cousin's house recently to play computer games... so addicting... :O

Melbourne School Bands Festival

Yesterday, I attended Melbourne School Bands Festival at Robert Blackwood Hall, Monash University.
I was really nervous, being my first competition. I was in Concert Band last year, I've gone up a level since then.

Pieces:
Encanto - Smith
An English Sea Song Suite - Sparke
When the Saints Go Marching In - arr. Polyhar

After looking at the guide book, I've realised that schools were expected to play two pieces that the judges chose, our school picks and one free one.
I think we did quite good. The flutes did stuff up one of the movements in The Engish Sea Song Suite... omg!
After that, the chief judge talks to you about how you can improve and blahblah. Then, you go upstairs to this room where you look at yourself play, a tutorial, a listening time. (:

I enjoyed my yime there, the building was massive! And there were so many paintings too, lol! Our performance was streamed live on the internet, I was kinda expecting it to keep records of the performances... then I could show you!

NO SCHOOL


There's no school today, yeah! That's because we're in year eight this year and it's the eight.eight.eight?

LOL. Just joking. Our school is moving some of the classrooms around. I still understand why only the year eights don't have to go to school... o.o

Anyway, the Olympics start tonight! YEAH! I will be watching the opening ceremony, which will be at ten.eight PM for us... we're faster by two hours.
Just wondering, who else will be watching the opening ceremony hmm...?

Final Thoughts

Just finished Love Exchange last night, here are my final thoughts.
I really liked Love Exchange and all the chaotic relationships inside it. I liked how all the actors played their roles, especially Anita. I haven't seen her before and I have to admit she was really good. Michael has always been good about that , no doubt about it.
I love Crystal. My grandpa said she came from ATV, anybody confirm on this? Lol. Her character was so smart and everything. She could risk everything for her love, pulling her own lifeline in the end for Power. When filming the parts with her previous boyfriend, judging from the build of the man, I kinda guessed it would've been Anita's husband.
Power has done an excellent job. His hairstyle disturbs me a little bit though. I hated his character, he seemed so nice at the start and then turned so evil.
Mandy, for some reason, I find her voice really annoying. Don't know why, it's like... kinda raspy.
And as for Tracy, for acting was really stiff, and wooden. I hope to see her improve if she ever does another series.

Overall, a 7.5/10
