I haven't been blogging much recently, been uber busy, trying to adapt to my new school environment.

Most of you guys should know that I have finished watching Treasures already, though I have quiet a lot to go with my summaries. Hopefully I will finish them soon, getting ready to start another series. Think it will be The Truth of Father Him!

My new icon is made by Surina, it suits my theme with the summaries of Treasures, ^^ Please check out her site, it's really wonderful with so many icons and other tidbits. :D

That's all I have time for today, hopefully more summaries will be up soon. My brother's birthday is tomorrow!

Sypnosis:

JIANG SHI XIAO (Miu Kiu Wai) is released from jail in Taiwan. He returns to Hong Kong immediately and tries to find his daughter JIANG YOU YOU (Elanne Kong) so as to heal their relationship. By pretending to be friendly with the one who made him in jail, the gang leader TO YIK TIN (Lam Lei), XIAO is eager to get even with him, and also intends to draw two young policemen to his side in order to strengthen his influence. LEE PAK KIU (Sammul Chan) from the Emergency Unit is reluctant to get close with a gangster while CHUNG LAP MAN (Ng Cheuk Hai, Ron) from Special Duty Squad believes that XIAO could help them fight against TIN by acting as an informer. MAN develops a close relationship with him gradually but he has been dismissed before accomplishing the task. Afterwards, XIAO takes MAN under his wing and MAN devotes himself to the triad society.

TIN always put XIAO on his guard and he asks his trusted follower LEUNG SIU TONG (Tse Tin Wah) to keep a close eye on XIAO. On the other hand, XIAO fights back by making use of TIN's wife CHING YEUK SAM (Chow Hoi Mei) to strengthen his power in the gang. XIAO eventually becomes the gang leader and he believes that everything is under control. However, the drug trafficking business keeps running into trouble abnormally. XIAO begins to question the loyalties among his confidants.

My Thoughts:

Um... nothing much to say. I just want to watch it, I watched a little bit of the first episode where Sammul shows Michael a photo but Michael says it isn't him and they have no relationship with each other except they just look alike. (???) Maybe he's lying...?

Sypnosis:

TIK YAN KIT (Cheng Jut Si), one of the most celebrated chancellors, is greatly trusted by Empress MO TSAK TIN (Chan Sau Chu). TIN's nephew MO SHING CHI (Lai Yiu Cheung) is jealous and he seeks every opportunity to frame him up. CHI accuses KIT for colluding with his daughter TIK CHING LUEN's (Liu Bernice Jan) husband SUNG TING YUK (Chan Kam Hung) of treason and an attempt to subvert TIN's throne. KIT is left speechless and his family members are all seized in order to TIN has been incited to action by CHI. KIT escapes in chaos but CHI threatens to kill his second wife CHO YUET (Sonija Kwok). The incorruptible and intelligent KIT is miserably caught in a dilemma and he feels helpless in every way. Would KIT be able to conquer the traitors eventually and help restore order from a tragic turnaround?

My Thoughts:

I saw this the other day at the place where I rent my TVB series, the official poster makes it look more appealing, I really want to watch it, but will have to wait until I finish Sweetness in the Salt!
I want to watch it because it's got both Bernice and Leila, I haven't seen them for a long time! Wayne will be evil, I don't think I have ever seen him evil before! Hopefully this series won't disappoint me.

It't such a surprise when you recieve something you didn't expect to, and I can't believe that I won a BRONZE for my two entries in a photoshop contest!

My favourite actress of course, Shirley! Hahaha! I must be really paranoid or something because I put like my logo onto these two graphics, mind that they weren't there for the real entry!

I like them both just as much, don't have a preference! Hahaha!

I'm sure that many of you have heard about the devastating bushfires in Victoria, it hasn't affected me but it has for hundreds of people. So many people have lost their homes, family and memories. It's so awful, let us pray for them.

So what have I been doing lately? I've been quiet busy with school work, but I've finished episode four summary, just finding a suitable time to post it up! I know it is currently airing in Australia, so I have to be quick!

Gigi Lai Happily Announces that she is Married to Mr. Ma

38-year old Gigi Lai married wealthy Ma Ting Koeng (馬廷強), yesterday Mrs Ma announced the good news through TVB to the media, she said: "I am very happy to tell everyone, I'm already married. I am very thankful that I finally found someone who loves me very much, someone I can entrust my whole life with." Mr Ma is 14 years older than Gigi, his net worth is over a hundred million dollars, he owns many companies and invests in medical equipment business. Virginia Lok (TVB's Director of Production Resources) has met Gigi's husband, she praised Mr Ma as a '120 points' good man.

Gigi confirmed her marriage to Mr Ma but their wedding date is still a mystery. There were different versions, first it was reported Gigi would marry this month in Australia, then it was rumored she was already registered last December in Europe. Actually they were already married and honeymooned before Lunar New Year. Although Ms Lok who announced Gigi's wedding on her behalf did not disclose her wedding date, but from the photos released to the media, it was discovered that their wedding date was September 2 of last year. Of the four wedding photos, three were taken on the same day, the image files indicate they were taken on September 2, 2008. It appears that after her marriage to Mr Ma, she officially announced on October 20 to the media about her retirement, in order to concentrate on taking care of her brother and his beauty business.

A 2 minute recording was aired on TVB's Scoop, Gigi's every single word seems to overflow with happiness. She praised her husband's compassion and his sense of responsibility, he loves her and and her family, this makes her feel very warm. Gigi feels more enriched and content with her simple family life now compared to her colorful life as an artiste.

Ms Lok revealed that she did not attend Gigi's wedding, she married near the end of The Year of the Rat, they honeymooned at many places and have returned to Hong Kong. As far as she knows, Gigi's brother Lai Ying did not attend her wedding. Ms Lok disclosed that Gigi did not wear a wedding dress because she has already worn it many times during her filming career. Ms Lok had dinner with Gigi and Mr Ma, Gigi said she is enjoying her life as Mrs Ma, learning to take care of her family, entertaining friends, cooking and decorating her home. Gigi said her family is very important to her, although she misses her TVB colleagues.

When asked about her impression of Mr Ma, Ms Lok couldn't stop her praises, she said he is a very good person and a reliable, low-key businessman, a '120 points' good man. Gigi has experienced a lot, now is the happiest time of her life. She also revealed that Gigi plans to have children.

It is rumored that the wedding banquet will be held on the 16th at the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong, Ms Lok said she is not sure. According to sources, Mrs Ma's love nest is mid-level luxury apartment Lan Sum Gok (蘭心閣), worth 70 million dollars, a wedding present to Gigi from Mr Ma.

My Thoughts:
Congratulations Gigi! Wish her the best in her marriage and career, taking care of her brother's business.
It really is a surprise to know that she already got married last year, cause there has only been rumours recently, she did a really good job in hiding it!
Even though her husband is 14 years older than her, I believe they look really happy together and age doesn't really matter anyway! They seem really dedicated and sweet together, (:
